Dates come off the palm in the middle of a Gulf summer, in volume, over a short window.
The problem is not weight — it is heat and time. Fruit picked at 45°C and left in a
closed container sweats, and sweating fruit sticks, ferments and downgrades before it
reaches the packing hall.

This crate is open-walled so the load starts shedding field heat immediately, and it is
sized to be lifted comfortably by one person on a ladder or a picking platform rather than
needing two hands and a trolley.
