Sliced bread in film is fragile in one direction only — downward. Stack it more than a
few packs deep and the bottom loaves flatten and the packaging creases, which is enough for
a supermarket to reject the delivery.

The 120 mm internal depth of this crate is the control on that. It physically limits how
many packs can sit on top of one another, so the load protects itself without the driver
having to think about it. The 658 × 553 mm plan size matches sliced-loaf pack
dimensions with minimal wasted space.
