Integrated lid or separate lid?
A lid earns its place when the crate leaves a controlled environment: a shared vehicle, a third-party warehouse, a customer site. It keeps contents clean, discourages casual access, and gives a flat surface for the crate above to sit on rather than relying on the rim.
