Bins are a picking format, not a transport one
A spare parts bin is designed to be reached into while it sits on a shelf. The open front is the whole point: no lid to lift, no crate to pull down, one motion to pick. That makes it the standard format for maintenance stores, workshop benches, assembly lines and any 5S layout.
Most of the range carries a stacking pin so a column of loaded bins holds its shape on a rack, while empties nest down and take a fraction of the space in storage.
Sizing follows pick frequency, not stock volume. A fast-moving line wants a bin small enough that it gets emptied and refilled on a predictable cycle; oversizing it just means old stock sitting at the bottom.
